Riverdale Global School

Curriculum

The goal of the creative Pre-Primary curriculum at Riverdale Global School is to achieve this goal by reiterating ideas, concepts, skills, and activities at this level from both the perspective of the teacher and the parent, so that they can understand what is happening in the classroom.

Our curriculum's primary focus is on imaginative and creative activities that take place both inside and outside of the classroom. Kids adore the curriculum because it is unique and full of fascinating things to do, see, and discover. Our meticulously designed preschool curriculum includes the following integrated project-based learning activities:

TEACHING METHODOLOGY/ EFFECTIVE INNOVATIVE TEACHING

Keeping pupils' attention and imparting knowledge in a way that they will remember long after class is the largest difficulty any teacher can face. In order for this to occur, creative and useful ideas are put into practice to improve learning in the classroom. Instructors infuse their lessons with creativity and intrigue. The foundation of our program consists of five projects that we complete annually. We continue to roll out new projects while maintaining the ongoing ones. Some of the tactics we employ are listed below.

CREATIVE TEACHING

We use entertaining games or visual exercises that pique the young minds' curiosity while using creative tools to foster creativity. Additionally, it allows them the flexibility to experiment and inspires them to come up with ideas.

E-LEARNING

We include e-learning into our lessons by using audio-visual aids, movies, power point presentations, and picture resources that foster students' imaginations and improve their conceptual understanding.

BRAINSTORMING

With various minds focused on a single concept, these workshops are a terrific way to spark creativity and generate lots of ideas that involve everyone in conversations.

REAL WORLD LEARNING

We use real-world experiences to infuse our lessons with real-world learning. Learning and understanding of the content is facilitated by the comparison and illustration of real-world scenarios. It piques their curiosity and adds to the intrigue of the sessions.

CLASSES OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM

There are some teachings that are best learned in the great outdoors, away from the confines of the classroom. Youngsters find it thrilling and novel, and the lessons they learn stick with them forever.

ROLE PLAY

Role-playing, tale dramatization, dance, music, and rhymes are excellent teaching methods that encourage kids to move outside of their comfort zones and improve their interpersonal skills.

SUBJECT INTEGRATION

Our curriculum is designed to nurture the mind, heart, and body as a whole. To provide the best learning, all of the activities are imaginatively balanced with the subjects.

ASSESSMENT OF LEARNING

Throughout the course of the activities, a variety of evidence sources are used to help the teacher assess student performance, monitor progress, pinpoint areas of learning weakness, strengths, and anecdotes, and provide remedial support through a variety of strategies.
